EDIT: - First off ive hit Disco 2 - it should be Disco 1 but i dont know how to change it - sorry!!

The drivers seat "rubbers" are gone on the underside. Ive repaired it a couple of times with webbing but a) it makes it very solid over big bumps and b) they keep sagging and need re doing.

Are the seats (drivers and passenger) interchangeable?? i know the seat belt buckle and fixing will need swapping over and the adjuster will be on the opposite side but that does not bother me.

Why not just swap the membranes over?

Should you decide to buy new membranes, this is the cheapest I've found so far...

yes they are swapable, you have to move the seatbelt clip to the right side and if you have lumbar support knob it will be hard to get at as it will be inbetween seat and B pillar

On my last 300 tdi the drivers seat was knackered and so were all the ones in the breakers but some passenger seats were in top nick so....
