As with any of this sort of stuff; Kurust, Jenolite, phosphoric acid, it's only temporary.

Now I don't agree
Surface rust and light pitting can be stopped with rust cures and after painting will be good for years to come

Thing is it's sometimes cheaper to cut it out and weld a new bit in:D
 
I am cutting and patching the body work, the chassis has some light surface rust, mostly comes off with wire brush.
was using this to ensure any small amount that i miss are treated with something and putting it on before the top coat as an extra protection
