found a plug that was disconnected and was wondering what it was for and why its unplugged? dont really wanna plug something in thats gonna fry the becm or anything .
its a 1996 2.5 dse and its on the front of the wiring loom behind the slam pannel on the drivers side near to were the horn connector is.
wires are purple and black x2 and 2 black plugs.

You'll always have a few sprious connectors, as i have on my L322... manufactures usually just produce 1 loom per engine type to cater for all markets... Probably a camel detection system for Saudi market:D

there are 4 wires in total and 2x black plugs. they fit together so must do something lol

Only thing i can find on 96 diagrams with Purple/White tracer and Black earth is connection to bonnet switch. Which is situated on the bonnet catch just in front of where the plugs are.
