A few of my bolt heads are a bit fecked, so thought new bolts time it is, but cannot find any bolt kits.
Anyone know of any?

In short no , but if buying singles then this might help

Finally got around to this, bit of hacksawing to length and all bolts are now stainless cap heads, not really what I wanted but they were the easiest to get!

@lynall , just seen these post so may be a bit late - I bought these for mine https://a2stainless.co.uk/product/land-rover-defender-200tdi-water-pump-timing-cover-screw-set/ + Kays Fasteners are always excellent for st/st fixings https://www.kayfast.co.uk/

Dammit bugger and bum, wish I had seen them before, did think there must be a market for them by now, but could not find any.
Would have saved me a lot of tossing about with the hacksaw and flap discs to clean the threads up.

They look neat enough. Did you stamp the timing cover, I wouldn’t dare

You have to stamp it in certain places, if there is any chance of the die bouncing you cannot stamp it in that location.
Whole car wheels etc stamped/etched/invisble ink uv pens, smartwater on everything, I dont really care if they nick it (its not like its special/rare or even that great a condition) but Im damned if they can sell the parts on without questions being asked.

Have you seen the price of defender 200 timing chest/covers/manifolds?

astronomical price! I handled mine like it was made of glass when I did my belt recently!

I was drilling a broken stud out of a def 200 back casing, and mentioned to the guy they were pricey, quick ebay check and yes front and rear casing 450 quid!
So searched 200tdi defender engine, 1500 quid full dressed engine, not to bad I thought until I saw the word seized in the description, last one I bought was 400 quid a few years back, and that came with gearbox!
