Hi everyone,

Can't beleive this is my second thread (though I was good and posted a 'hi' in the Introductions :)

Just wondering if anyone has had any experience of the above garage and what their opoinion is/was? Also, would there be any other indy specialists that folk would recommend in the Leeds area?

Sorry, should've been more clear.

I'm after a reliabel place to carry out standard servicing and maybe exhaust manifold repair/replacement.

Don't mind servicing myself - but have little time these days, so tend to take cars in.

i'd be willing to do that for you. have use of a very well equipped garage on a weekend if needed.

Cool - thanks.

I'll be looking at the following when I get paid:
- Replace aux belt tensioner and serpentine belt (have parts)
- Investigate (replacing as needed) exhaust manifold gasket/inlet manifold gasket (have gaskets)
- Full service with oils/filters (yet to get service pack)

Is this something you'd be willing to do? How much would you reckon in £ and time (assuming I got the service filters/oil etc.)?

I'm thinking of Sat 20th Aug.


Out of interest where abouts are you? I'm in Rothwell and work in York - I've seen a few Discos around (but must admit I'm not sure of the acknowledgement etiquette as I've acknowledged, but then been blanked in return) - are there any forum windscreen stickers to indicate affiliation?

Place called ABOUT US | Adventure 4X4 just round the corner from Tingley bar chippy
really good set of lads and **** loads cheaper than Landrover. recently had both clutch airbags replaced by them. clutch inc thrust plate or summat was £650 and airbags replaced was £180.

Thanks for that - I've seen them on the web too, just that the other place was closer (though I'm always happy to travel further for expertise / better service).

Green Oval Garage are a excellent garage .. Had my Range Rover to many dealers .. nothing sorted .. took to these guys and all faults found and repaired
