fancy helping a complete newbie blank off my EGR and de cat my disco 300 tdi? I have the parts the tools but no bottle when it comes to the bolts scared i'll screw up royally.

Tyheres a drink in it or a few beers I am in dorking

a bit of advice soak your "NUTS" ok bolts at least a few days prior tp trying to undoing them , blanking the EGR is one of the simpliest jobs to do hwo ever doing the de-cat could be a bit more tricky . im sure you could do the blanking kit on your own no problem !!

sorry to hi jack thread,but does it help to undo exhaust bolts with the engine good and hot-or put a torch on them.tried mine the other week as was worried about shearing em
