Well I didn't expect to be throwing a 10 year old cooker away, but its looking like this may be the only option.

I am trying to source a top oven/grill thermostat switch or energy regulator as they seem to be known for a 'Stoves' 800 DF DOM oven and the bloody part is now obsolete. I have been searching and calling everywhere for one and not yet had any success.

Every other part seems to be available but this, which seems a little convenient, as this one part is basically enough to scrap the cooker as without a grill its as good as useless. Personally I don't find a 10 year life for an expensive cooker acceptable. But then nothings built to last these days, so I shouldn't be surprised.

I have been informed the proper part number is 0802082800

The model seriel number is 050565032

So can anyone help before I set about the thing with a sledge hammer and buy an entirely gas cooker I would be most grateful.

Thanks but I have tried E-spares already.

The cooker regulator seems to be easy to source, the top over/grill one seems non existent!

heres a local little woman hwo does everyfing to cookers she is pretty good aswell might be worth a call

This one came from using the cooker name rather than part number.

Ahaaa, excellent. I will give both a try. Now that second link really does look promising as it refers to the grille regulator.

Its geat what can be turned up with a fresh set of eyes. I had exhausted my searching capability!

Post a pic of the unit you need, belling may do one to fit
