I was told theres one in near wrexham but can not find it

Couple of "private farms" near ruthin you hire the whole farm with a group for the weekend and camp & play within reason

i have been tha 1 near ruthin its a £10 per vehicle, been a few times and campd aswell its quite good actually

theres two i know of but only been as part of a group

Went to one recently, the farmer told me a "club" didn't pay the dosh owed to him so he was'nt to happy with groups, he told me who there were, went on their website and yes they were there, quite surprised as part of a national trailing organisation

both are farms bit like toms in mid wales, theres no advertising, website or any thing like that, not "official" pay day sites, no insurance etc,

On one you just pay the farmer £xx and he lets you camp where ever with reason you like, its the drive to the campsite which makes it interesting

The £10 one sounds like one of them i've been too

theres a good on just outside landovery, good pay n play site also have acomdation and a fantastic map room with all the rights of way all over most of wales, definatly worth looking up...

Any chance of a PM telling me about this one? I'm genuine... :)

been to hill and ditch, ok for a small site but wrecked all the bearing on all of our jeeps and the pulleys aswell, think its mainly sandstone so take it to a jet wash soon after leaving or youll be under the fooker for a good few weeks afterwards. any other sites that arnt bad to get to in the north west?

Take it ye mean Cumbria by north west, if ye don't mind a drive over the border, there's always this

yer i do apologise about the phrase used to describe the landys and rangies we went in that day but am just used to talking to commoners who go "whats a disco"? but anyway when i say north west i mean liverpool, lancashire, wirral, north wales, chester, cheshire etc etc

Hi

We have an offroad site in Birmingham, its not the biggest in the world but holds some challenging stuff!

Its £20 per car to play all day, we dont (ourselves) offer camping but there is a local camping site used regularly by the Caravan club, which is £5 per night per vehicle!

For more info and directions check The Army Experience - Home

Thanks
Gavin.
