Hi everyone, I was just wondering if anyone knew of any open green lanes near Pitstone/Leighton Buzzard way? I may be over that way this weekend in the Range Rover and thought itÂ’d be good to take the opportunity to explore a couple of lanes if there were any!

Looks like the sort of place where'd there would be loads, and I know a lot of you guys are based out that way so probably have the local knowledge! :)

Thanks!

Mike,

I live in the next village to Pitstone, and unfortunately can report that there is sweet FA!

Just the other side of Tring in a village called Hastoe there are a couple but think they are closed until April from memory. There is also one which connects Vale Road (between Chesham and Cholesbury) with Bellingdon, but I've not driven that one for years. Finally there is one on the Aldbury to Asheridge Road which then comes back down to near Northchurch, but I understand that the person who owns the land that it runs through is not adverse to a row and likes to make it as inaccessible as possible.

There are a couple the other side of Princess Risborough which are quite well surfaced and one of them passes JK from Jamiroqui's house at Horsenden Manor.

Not the news you want to hear I'm sure.

OK, never mind!! I've done the little lane from Vale Road up to Bellingdon - bit tight for a Range Rover in place but the track was in good condition and no TRO's that I can see so looks to be open year round.

Have you got any more details on the lane over Risborough way? An entrance and exit point would be good!

Cheers :)
