Wanted,
Disco 1 or two, in green (preferably) or red, diesel, auto…price dependent on mileage and FSH.

what colour would you like your unicorn?

sorry, green or red:D

price dependent on mileage and FSH.

price depends on availability (D1) and how badly rusted / Quality of welding - I'd ignorew millage or service history...

as to D2, beware of rear chassis...

Rich.

Preferably Epsom green, I know me quest seems somewhat ‘suicidal’ but I’ve just had the somewhat dubious pleasure of driving a modern car (Toyota corrolar) down the A1…..think about braking? and it slams the anchors on, accelerating? either slam the pedal down or creep past thon lorry doing 60.’no half measures’ friggin nightmare…too complicated by half.

Hi, I have a jap reimport v8 auto that I may be thinking of selling. No corrosion on chassis (cavity wax every year) and I've just had the off side wing treated and painted. It has an lpg (Stag) system and I have just replaced the exhaust with a stainless system, the engine was replaced in 2012 with a turner top hat reconditioned unit and it has a mark Adams tornado chip in the eco. I was considering Megasquirt but as I have recently retired have no real use for it anymore.
The faults are the cruise control and ac is not working.
Cheers

If you can weld and spin a spanner ther are hundreds of descent discos out ther it baffles me why people will spend years and thousands rebuilding a defender but will brush off a disco in need of welding I appreciate the defender will be worth more but also more to purchase

we need to start properly looking after the discos as at the end of the day if we don’t ther prices will rise to if not more

sorry rant over :)

No, I’ve had them all, including 2 freelanders, I’ve got a lovely P38 with one problem…..knackered liners, its running luvverly…but with the dreaded tick tick, tick and water shortages…..anyone wanting a divorce, mental breakdown and hours of hard Labour…yours for the price of a reconditioned gearbox.
Also included LPG conversion and one helluva appropriate number plate.

Sorry cannot start a new thread. So just going throw this in there. I have D2 facelift owned for about 9 years. Rear qtr replaced form crossmember and lots of the usual engine bits manifold injector seal starter motor turbo etc etc. int past 12 monthsAlas I have fallen out with it on the last mot fail and I am gong to scrap it. Only failed on brake lines and ball joint one side and I bought the bits to fix including 3 new callipers. Only do just over 130k it’s a shame to scrap it. Anyone interested I am in Bolton. You will need a trailer it has no brakes, and need to bid me above scrap value. Lots of other bits to go separately including nanocom and a full set of spare wheels. Inbox me if you have any interest I will give you the reg and you can look up the mot fail sheet I will scrap it to get it off my drive in the next couple of weeks.

I've got a red td5 auto with 105,000miles on a galv chassis, new brake lines, new 2 inch lift springs and shocks, new fuel pump, injector seals, injector harness, all front ball joints, extended braided brake hoses, fuel pressure regulator, manifold skimmed, gearbox oil and filter, rear hub orings all diffs and trans box oil.
The underbody has been fully painted with two undercoats and two top coats of international yacht paint. All done in the last two years.
I'm not really looking to sell but would consider offers over £12,000

I think the car and parts were £8-9000, and then there is the year it takes to put it all together.
It's not cheap to do a galv chassis properly.

My old Disc TD5 XS 7 seat auto is still out there somewhere according the MOT website. One of the best and most useful cars Ive ever owned. I waxoyled the chassis inside and out plus all the body underside. Maybe a good find if anybody knows where it is X363LOB.

This has to be one of the worst threads on the forum, which is saying something.

And I don't think the title should contain the phrase "any bugger".

Nobody here is even interested in entomology!:D
