you won't be stripping it as such just the sv switches. It's usual **** poor landrover build quality issues.
LANDROVER DISCOVERY 2 ABS REPAIR Uplands - SA4
That link, you will be removing the part on the left from the bottom of the unit, put the multimeter on the plug and get 3k ohms, press each switch in turn and get 2k ohms and then both and get 1k ohms, 321 check.
If that's ok then you need to check continuity between where that plug connect on the back of the piece on the right on that picture to the two end pins on the middle row on the multi plug. If you have continuity and the 321 check is good then it's a connection issue or possible a genuine valve issue but this is a very easy check/fix to save some cash.
Put the plug from the piece on the left into the piece on the right as it would be if assembled and do the 321 check again, I had cleaned the contacts and bent the plug side connectors a little to get a good connection. If the 321 works then chuck it all back together and in the car and see how it goes.
If you don't get the continuity test you can then cut off the plug and solder on longer wire, insulated with heat shrink and drill the plastic switch cover where the plug sits and connect these wires straight to the wires from the multi plug from the car loom, it makes no difference which wire goes to which as the slabs ecu only looks for resistance as per the 321 check.
This will sort the abs valve fault (p4114 i think) and the electrical supervision fault.
Hope that makes some kind of sense, it should once the abs unit is on the bench, if you need I will pm my number and talk you through it.
