Evening all
2002 L322 rear suspension anti-roll bar links.
Do any of you knowlegeable people know where the hardened washer goes on the strut spring seat end of the rear anti-roll bar link?
Does it
a) go under the nut, or
b) under the flat on the ball end of the link, or
c) does it matter?

Washers normally go under nuts.

Thank goodness, because that's exactly where I put it.
Strange that the manual says 'be careful to put it in the right place', but doesnt say where that place is
That sounds familiar somehow

Actually, when I replaced the one on the other side, the hardened washer was fitted between the ball and the mounting bracket, not between the nut and the bracket.
I've swopped the previous one also
