I’m completely fed up. Sod all to do, I’ve had to cancel my planned laning trips and I’m sick of Netflix and Sky :D

So I might do jobs on my Landy. This might be a worry to those who know me :D. My DIY, assisted by this forum, has gone horribly horribly wrong in the past.

So what jobs can I do that have zero potential for **** ups There has to be something This is my girl

Have a go at fixing it, F!#% it up, then fix that ;)

standard landy ownership diy

My friends have got fed up of that :D. In fact I got banned from taking advice from here on how to do what sounded simple jobs (which weren’t ). The worst was probably fitting and sealing the snorkel, followed closely by changing the fan. Both ended up with a completely immobilised vehicle :D. I need inspiring ideas which won’t affect the ability of the Landy to actually run when I mess up

Simple drive up to Glasgow and shout out the window that Scots love Maggie Thatcher, then High Tail it back when the crowd come chasing.:D

I painted the wheels and cross member black without incident (although someone else took the wheels off for me, they are a bit heavy)

I suppose I could take out and re label all my spares boxes. They could do with a sort out

You'll just end up losing something ;)

Nope :D. Carrying properly labelled spares is my thing. I just haven’t got a clue how to fit them. But it works well as long as I go laning with Defender owners.

I wonder if I could **** up taking the winch rope off to wash It’s a bit mucky and not really red anymore

Pull out that dipsticky thing, look at it and put it back in again. (Don't look too closely at it, it might give you the urge to do something else that comes in year two of the course.);)

:D. I’m really good at stuff that doesn’t involve tools My maintenance knowledge is also getting pretty good I just don’t do it myself, it’s safer :D.

Try fixing the leaks, that will keep you busy for months.

Hmm. Don’t encourage me, I’ve been thinking of that but decided it was too dangerous. It only has one leak (amazing I know) and that is from the returns on the injectors. They keep working loose even though my friends keep tightening them It’s usually number three, although last time it was only 3 leaking but the rest were starting to get loose. Trouble is that’s exactly the sort of job I get tempted to start then get stuck
