Anyone know why these wheels are so expensive?
I fancy putting a set on ( not everyone's cup of tea but that's a different story) , but prices are silly!
Have they stopped making them? Or is there an equivalent steel rim with a similar offset at a more sensible price

I belive the HD rims (also known as wolf rims) have the samer offset and are more sensibley priced. More avaiable second hand as well as were fitted to more vehicles and used extensivly by the military.
To my knowledge the ones you are looking for were only fitted to 1-ton variants and series 2B vehicles so a very limited production run. I would love a set for my sereis but could nto find any at a sensible price so fitted the HD rims in the end.

I can't afford the stupid money the 1 ton rims go for ,but even if I could, I wouldn't want to spend that much on some second hand steel rims!! Even if they look nice on . Will take a look at the wolfs .

Be careful with the wolf rims as there are new aftermarket ones as well as genuine original although I do not know what the difference, if any, is. They are technically called HD rims not wolf. I found when I was looking people selling them as wolf seemed to want more money, especially if they had been badly painted by a squadie in nato green! I bought two sets as wanted 6 and both came from 130's and included tyres. By the time I had sold the two spares and swapped the tyres around they cost me about £50 a wheel including a full set of Michelin ZXL's. There are also both tubed and tubless variants so make sure it is a matched set of which ever your preference is, one of the sets I bought was mixed.
