Just when I think the Landy can come out of the garage for a bit and let me get some work done on the evo, I find another oil leak.

This time it's the transfer box, leaking in the narrower section between the gearbox and the flat plate near the handbrake drum. It looks like the oil is running from higher up and round the sides of the transfer box and dripping into the floor.

Any obvious places to check before I start ripping out the tunnel cover to see what's going on?

Just looked at a gearbox photo in the for sale section, and it looks like it's the area near to the diff lock possibly the top breather. Might need to get the tunnel out for a look.

Check from the rocker gasket down.

Oil runs downhill

Yeah, it's part of the Land Rover rust prevention system.
