POSITIVE REPLIES ONLY PLEASE
[ That will open up the flood gates for being slated ]

Dear Landyzoner's
I wish to thank all that took part in the last group purchase [GP] ,it nearly went without a hitch but a couple of postal issues which hopefully will be resolved by tomorrow?

Some people will object to this thread and not agree with this being posted on the forum?, If the administrators object they will remove and or contact me, but if we can get a discount and it help us out at the same time, well its more power to us! As I am not paying Fleabay prices

I am looking to arrange another Bulk Purchase from Black Box Solutions [ BBS ]. But there will be some conditions attached!

I am happy to facilitate another GP, however it will not be expedited as quick as the last one… 1, I want to keep my sanity 2, keep postal shipping to a minimum cost, 3, Time for other L.Z'er that don't log on to the forum everyday and for the word to spread around. ……...There are probably more which I will advise.

The initial offer will stand with a small caveat, BBS will cover over 10 FCR's at the same 20% discount plus £5 GBP to ship each.

If however we get 20 plus units, then BBS will cover all shipping costs effectively giving the same deal as we just had.
All the products will be posted to a single delivery address via a signed for courier service i.e. TNT , Mine if nobody has any objections? If so please make them known ASAP
On receipt of the goods I will post out to you via Registered Royal Mail costing £5:50 depending on the size/ weight of the parcel and is insured up to £250 GBP in which a tracking reference number is on the receipt which I will forward to you. If you want the cheaper postal options, that is up to you, but I am in no way responsible for any loss or damage etc. If you choose Recorded delivery. Costing around £3:00 GBP - + it only covers up to £41:00 GBP in event of loss. I do not open the Jiffy bags on receipt, I will just forward them on, so ensure the correct Postal address will be on them as I don't work as BBS, and on the previous order some of the delivery address's was different from the invoice address's , hence some postal delays and problems to some forum members in which I apologise.

Re postage costs, I must be paid in full for the postage to my bank account before I post out to you, [save me getting a kicking from my wife ] or you can collect, I do not have PayPal! If you are not in the UK mainland i.e. Republic of Ireland and you do not have a GB post code, I can send via International signed for mail, this costs £10:24 weight depending and is insured up to £200:00 GBP - +

As and when we do get the ball rolling I am happy to text you, as I get free texts, however if you do respond, please ensure you end it with your name and or forum name otherwise I lose track of who is who, what, where and when re the dozens of texts I got from the previous purchase.

BBS do levy a Credit card charge 3% I believe, slightly less for debit cards.

Please ensure you read BBS website so you know what you want to order, and ensure you are happy with what you want, any technical questions will have to be emailed direct to BBS.

Re your questions you may have

1) Yes the FCR does the same job as the almost as expensive EAS Kicker.

2) No the FCR does not do a re sync of the BeCM to EMS system. That's the job of the sync mate.

3, When you place the order with BBS the amount you pay on the sales web site of BBS, will be for the full price inc-shipping price of around £20;00 GBP - + !, however you will be given a booking reference number which you MUST forward to BBS ASAP via their admin email address or via a telephone call, they intercept the order place it to one side under the L.Z GP , and will send you a pro-forma with the correct billing amount to be deducted. You must contact them back to agree to pay the new amount. Also remember if we hit 20 units the shipping cost per person £5;00 will come off, bringing the cost lower.

Amy questions please ask away…………. otherwise just reply advising you are expressing an interest at this stage, there will be no requirements to PM me or to tell me what you want, as YOU will be ordering, YOUR products, I am the guy just losing his mind sorting it all out on our side of the water …..

Regards

Paul

Please speak english.

Spadgr, I will ask at the post office the cost to post to you in NZ, let you know in a couple of days.

Any chance of a group buy on MSV-2 ? I like the FCR but would probably prefer to go for the MSV-2 for the additional capability.

I was wondering if there might be enough interest to do a deal on some Synchmates?

I'm sure that there will be a fair few people out there who would survive without a fault reader, relying on some-one else to do the mechanical stuff, but I get the feeling that there should be a Synchmate in every Rangie glove box.

Just don't look at me to be the collection point, with work right now I feel like I'm only at home long enough to change my socks.

After recent events, I could do with my own sync mate.
If yu are co-ordinating a group buy from BBS, does it have to be all identical product? You say that we would order individuallly and it would then be intercepted and put with the group purchase, in which case I think it should be possible to order any of thier products and gain the extra discount - Where's BBS guy when you need him??

If it turns out that a group purchase will cover any of the product line, then I will be interested.

Hi L .Z'er

The Offer is to promote the new FCR for the P38 as most of us struggle with the faults.

BBS has kindly agreed if anybody wants the FCR deal and an additional piece of kit, but only limited to the following :- SRT, EAS Kicker or Syncmate ..NO MSV KITS.

If a person just wants the latter i.e Syncmate then the standard 10% discout applies as per other Forums, but if we get over 10 x individual sales on say the Syncmate then we qualify for the better discout, only 1 x unit per person i.e 1 x FCR, 1 X Syncemate etc.. and if a person did purchase the FCR with an addition Syncemate or SRT then there would be no additional postage .

Hope this helps ?

L.Z'er

We have a few interested, and some want to add onto their FCR kit ie Syncmates etc.. let me know.

Well of course i am here ;) but this is really c099895's thread, as he is really the one doing all the organising and hard work and the one willing to be the single UK delivery point for a possible second FCR group buy for all you LZ members that may have missed the opportunity last time. And we all know how well that went :)

I see a few of you are interested in a possible group buy for the MSV-2 and i will give this some thought and discuss possibilities of this with c099895. If anyone else would be interested in a 20% group buy discount on an MSV-2 as opposed to an FCR, then i guess now is as good a time as ever to say so. The more the merrier and as c099895 has demonstrated quite superbly, the cheaper too.

In the meantime, although many of you have seen how happy those who participated in the first group buy were. In fact, i figure most are still to busy still playing with their new toys to join us for the moment

I thought some of you might like the chance to actually see for yourselves just what all the fuss is about. As such i knocked up a very basic demo video of an FCR in action reading and clearing a spurious fault code from the ABS system of a P38.

Hope you like it
