Hi all, just treated myself to a Freelander 2 and not been disappointed at all, a few probs to iron out but nothing serious "hopefully" anyway merry chrimbo Frank.

Car is fine, but have a small problem. I replaced battery with a YASAU from Halfords due to original Land Rover battery was defunct, and now I find that I can lock the car with fob, but cannot unlock/take off alarm with the fob, nor the spare fob. I have to take the key out of the fob, unlock the passenger door, then put the fob in the ignition dock to stop the alarm. Not ideal at 6am. Any idea anybody pleeze ...... Frank
