this was from the seller i got the car from (he did all the work and the vast expense .thank god for a buyers market

It started life as a V8, The V8 was no good for me as I’ve always wanted a 300tdi. I then came across a 1998 110 300tdi which was an unfinished/barely started project. Then the rebuild began i completely striped both the 90 and 110 to a bare chassis. Stainless steel nut and bolts were used where ever possible on the rebuild so when she needs repairs in the future you can keep the grinder in the cupboard. The colour is and old 1970s rover colour and it always get comments on how nice the paint work is quality primer and lacquer was used to give it the best achievable finish.

I am going to list the work carried out below (All parts were purchased from Bearmach)

I take it you won't be off roading that then:rolly:

I've got to ask, why do all that work and not fit a galv chassis or bulkhead?

It's all too easy to say that, but money dictates for some people.
My first rebuild I kept the old chassis. Some of the patches it needed would have been very difficult with the body on, as would cleaning the chassis properly.
Money was the key for me at the time. Or the lack of it! Still I'd like to think it gained a few years from the time I spent on it, and if it wanted a galv chassis in the future at least everything would be nice and easy to work on :)
Although I do agree on the whole as I've since built 2 more on galv chassis's  It's just I know the other side having been their.

yes i did .and it was worth every penny :D

i went all the way to cardiff to get it .and im from the west highlands near oban ....
