There's a certain satisfaction to be had when your 22 year old Land Rover, which is used every day as a workhorse and isn't a pampered pet, passes it's MOT with the minimum of hassle. A couple of little welds, a new light switch and off we go for another year.

It's an old landy,the only motor that can brag about the percentage that's still on the road.So when your 23 year old landy passes it's mot,it really is something to sing about.Theres probebly more old landy's on the road than there are Datsons.
 
Mines 27 :D - Can't believe it really, that I and many others use a near 30 y/o vehicle as a daily / for everything day in day out. Built to last as long as you keep em maintained.

MOT's due at the end of the month I think! I think it will pass. Can't see why....

Probably just jinxed myself lol

Mine is 26 in Jan( from registration, not build), and I would be horrified if it even got an advisory when I took it in.
