Looked myself in the past and havnt found any, was the same for my old spitfire ive neverreally understood why so many makes are overlooked by these styles..
But idont think it would be bard to retro fit a kit or some of the audi type strings with a heat gun to seperate the lens from the backing..

Off topic but you can get them for the Spitfire, David Manners does a 7" halogen kit with angel eyes (meant for a classic Mini but will fit Spitfire). If you want to be even cooler there is a 7" LED headlight conversation which I have seen on Defenders (incl. Lindsay Porters) which should fit the Spitfire. They're the other side of £600 tho....

Tbey did t when i had mine but i didntknow the mjni headligbts did either missed that.. Their was a cyrstal mod lamp that looked good bjt was expensive..

Nice find epicuser.

One problem would be fitting those Xenons and getting them level.

I think to disassemble the lamp unit you have to put them in the oven (taking them out the car first) to get the glue loose, then you can pick them apart to get inside the glass.

Probably going to be next to impossible though to fix them securely, at the right angle?

A shame as done right, they could look neat.

Given that headlights are going for about a tenner a piece on e-bay it might be worth buying a set to be the sacrificial proto-types....

You have to have self levelling headlights with xenon headlights by law this is to stop you dazling oncoming traffic how would you rig that up?

And what about headlight washers....

You have the motor in the lights to (do it your) self controlled from the dashboard.

I can't fit these to mine as they only work with H4 bulbs, so are only suitable for pre facelift vehicles.

I am sure I will fit a set of the normal HIDS4U 55w ultimate HID's soon, with the anti dazzle coating. Called H7R.

From my interpretation of the rules. HID lights need to be adjustable, not necessarily self leveling.

I think they come with all the instructions you need. HIDS4U are very helpful and will generally talk you through any problems.
