Is there any benefit in having a different alternator if you are towing a caravan with a Discovery? Does the extra output to the internal caravan (twin electrics) electrics make any real difference?
Is there any benefit in having a different alternator if you are towing a caravan with a Discovery? Does the extra output to the internal caravan (twin electrics) electrics make any real difference?
The input through the caravan system is regulated at the caravan end anyway, so a bigger alternator wont do much if anything.
Unless your alty is knackered, in which place i would replace it with as big as i could get, just for convenience.
