Ok, I've put a isuzu 2.8 turbo diesel into my landrover 90, been having probs with the alternator not putting charge into the battery. Now i've fiited a disco 200tdi alternator and am having probs with the brakes due to no vacuum pump.

Please can anyone help

You need vacuum to work the brake servo. Fit a vacuum pump. You've answered your own question.
