Hi all, could somebody tell me the length of the cable and what size lugs are needed. Replacing my alternator with a 75amp one and I want to get a heavier duty cable made up and ready.

The terminals will depend on the alternator and what it is connected to at the other end.

16sq mm flexible will suffice for the cable, 25sq mm is slightly better if you have a long run between alternator and battery, Tri-Rated cable in both cases.

From memory starter has an 8mm stud, my alt is the same but some have a plug and run two wires rather than one heavy one.
