How Do All.
A few years ago a friend had an 88inch with i believe transit springs on the back?
Has anyone come across the same and if so what will fit?
I know parabolics are probibly the best, but i believe in doing things differently.
Any ideas greatly received.

Cheers
Lee

if you were to go for the single leaf 20cwt transit spings then i reckon you would be alright, but it all depends on the length of the springs

I think that transit springs are longer but i may be wrong, i would go with parabolics.

But if you are realy keen you could move the spring hangers to make them fit

oh! width!! why dint you say so? you could have meant similar with a cheese sandwich which we all know isn't similar with a leaf spring.. look here is the proof

Remind me to keep my conversations with you purely humourous and never let me stumble into asking you for advice on a technical matter;)

They hadn't invented BMX's when you wuz a lad. It was butchers bikes with lolly sticks in the spokes.

btw.
theres another connection between the landy and the transit. GKN sankey made chassis for land rover for many yrs, and the transit subframes for ford.

not many people know that.
