Hello, I have a 2001 HSE with the Alpine head unit, HK upgrade, factory sat nav and rear seat video set up. I want to upgrade the head unit for one with DVD capability. In additon to the 2 ISO connectors and aerial lead on the rear of the Alpine unit I found a three other small connectors in a row above the upper ISO and a second thin coaxial connector and cable next to the aerial - can anyone shed some light on what these connections are for?

Head unit uses two antennas hence the second connector.

The 3 part connector you talk about is for the cd changer and amp in the boot.

The connectors each carry differing signalsc to transfer power. Signals for the changer operation and also the sound signals.

so if I plug another unit in I wont get the boot amp working but everything else will ? (apart from the cd changer of course
