If you have 16" alloys on as standards

Can you fit 15" steel wheels and tyres to suit

Looking for some spare wheels to off road in rather than risk damaging the alloys

Or anyone know of any 16" that will fit

Yeah just get some steels off a 2001-on car.

Used 16" OE alloys are not massively expensive on the bay as (I would imagine) a lot of people want 17s. I'm after a set myself as 215 on a 16" rim is a common size for grippy tyres. Just missed a set for 56 quid the other day - doh.

I think you would have even more choice tyre-wise if you went right down to 15, and its likely to be a cheaper option.

Cant get 16" steels...none made

i you want to go for wider tyre then you need to be looking at somthing like oz racing wheels that they do in 15 X 7 they are v.fooking expensive unless there is somone on eblag selling a set and dont know what they are....got mine for £30 for set complete with tyres

Hi,
I was nosing around a bit and have read that you have a set of 15 inch steelys to give away or sell ??! Do you still have them ?? If so would you part
with them ?? I am coming through the Tunnel on Sat. so pick up would be no bother. It all sounds abit cheeky but never the less !
Thanxxxxxxx an awful LOT.

they're at my brothers house in sheerness, I'll give him a ring and ask him when he'll be about. I assume you'll mean the channel tunnel and not the dartford tunnel...

Hi,
Thanks for answering !!!
Couple of mates and me are going to Esher in W. London,we are going
through the Channel Tunnel around midnight Fri.Sat 28-29 March. We are
leaving on Sat. the same evening also around 11-12.00 PM.
Can you please give me Tel. or Adress ????
Thanxxxxxxxxxx
Peter

didn,t I read somwhere that you have to be careful about what steels to fit as the offset is different to that of the alloys and exert undue strain on the wheel studs

I had standard steels on and a changed them for 16" alloys then i brought some 215/80x15 BFGoodrich mud terrains and put them on the steels for offroading no problems

sorry freeme, some one obviously doesn't like you up stairs ! My brother has been looking at those wheels every day for a year outside his back door. The day I ring him and say, "got rid of your wheels for you" he says, "got rid of them last week".

Truly sorry freeme, it was a genuine offer, but beyond my control.
