im looking for all terrain tires for off road and on road use struggling to find any my tyre size is 225 55 r17

We had 17" rims, but recently switched to 16", running 205/80R16's, which work really well.

I'd guess you might get away with 225/65R17....

225 65 17 will fit a standard FL1 with no clearance issues.
I put Geolander A015 on in this size - great ‘all rounder’, and no issues green laning and off road.

As Freddie said. Dump the 55% profile in favour of 65% instead. This will give more ground clearance, and correct the widely inaccurate speedo.

Hi,

Geolander A/T G015 are good allseasons tires, I have them in 195/80 R15 size, they have very good grip on snow.
If you choose them in 15 inchs, you can still put snow chains if you need.

They are a little more noisy then normal tires.
In the freeway at 70 mph or more, the TD4 engine will mask any noise on the road.

I have also the Geolandars, 225/65, no issues, not so noisy as expected.

Toyo OpenCountry Country AT3 225/65 as well no issues with clearance or anything and pretty quiet
