Nowthen all.

Well after cutting out and re soildering the block plugs in the drivers side footwell and the immobiliser being turned off via the plug in computer thingy my P38 is great again.

Want to get some other things looked at now like the heated seats not working and air con fans not working.

Anyone got any advice to rectify the the above without having to shell out to much?

Cheers.

Petrol too expensive! I took my hevac to bits, cleaned it up with contact cleaner, then put it back together, now seats work fine!

Loads of posts on the forum about condenser fans. Get them checked out by someone with diagnostics for the engine ecu (Petrol). They very rarely come on anyway as the engine fan keeps the cool air flowing over them. Er Indoors has a Vectra with climate control ...better than the P38's...and the condenser is located away from the radiator, the fans on that operate more frequently because it's a different layout.

The heated seats are common. The heating element in the seat has broke and needs connecting back together. Its quite easy to do.

But the thermostat in the seat in these cuts out very low, so they never get very warm, while your in there put a new thermostat in that cuts out higher for a proper job.

There is a very good link that someone will find soon on this topic. Its on a different website.

Sorry for late reply, cheers for the updates.
Rangie still going well so i may tackle the air con and seats very soon.

Cheers.

when you tackle the seat, look on the link further up for the guide, but dont take the leather all the way off the seats, you can get the wires out and re join em without!! its a bit fiddly but alot easier that fecking about with them hog rings!!!
