...but she was still starting ok!

Two of the 4 came out covered in diesel or oil - they were black and soaking despite the engine being run for 10min just prior to removing them!

How? Why? - I'm a little concerned about it. No smoke though - so is there just a seal gone in the head?

could be the relay timer gave up the ghost

Hi guys.

Should of said: The plugs tested dead with continuity tester - there was no life in them at all. New ones fitted now and test fine, but haven't yet started from cold to see if there is a noticable improvement - not that it struggled before really....

Well, she didn't struggle compared to the 19j I was used to......but since this thread was started I've had the pleasure of starting her from cold on a cold day, and she starts instantly, and I mean instantly! Very happy
