Hi there

Just a few quick questions, what is the correct process for changing tyres with regards to air suspension?

and

How often should you hear the air pump running when im stationary it seems to be running all time, but when you drive away it stops.. Been told its had airbags though!

Not had a chance to look underneath but thought id ask first.

Ta, Pete

Hi. Put EAS into normal or high. Chock at least one wheel. (hand-brake works on transmission). Jack axle NOT body. Keep tailgate or door open all the time to prevent self leveling off EAS.
Air leaks?? Even if air bags replaced lots of other possibilites! Lots of threads on here about EAS. Also best to research Storey Wilsons site. Land Rover Reset Tools. A true education. Suggest you equipe yourself with cable & software before it`s needed. If you`re new to the P38 make sure you have EAK code too!

cheers for that, im not even sure theres a fault. Would just like to know how often you hea the air pump running, will investigate futther if need be.

Dedends how often it changes itself between access/normal/m-way modes. If it`s not continuously running then shouldn`t worry. May be an idea to take cover off and put your hand on it, as it will be hot if running too much. If you do have any leaks then it will be working overtime and will have a premature (expensive!) demise. May not be urgent but check for leaks when you`ve time & save yourself hassle later.
