Hello chaps, just fitted air springs and they inflated to normal height, pressed the button to raise it and it don't seem to go much higher (maybe 10mm) the light just keeps flashing.... getting dark now and running out of derv... any nuggets of wisdom?

Possibly an air leak somewhere? And as said might seem obvious but all doors need to be shut.
Yes, doors were shut...I thought might all still be in bed so I googled it... whether it was coincidence or not I don't know but someone had previously suggested driving in low range for a bit. Did this and I think it's gone up. Will have a look in the morning. Pitch black and back ache now.

Mine refused to re-inflate after I changed an air bag last year and I too read about having to drive it slowly and this also worked for me. I was later told this had nothing to do with it but the proof was in the pudding. I tried other suggestions like jacking it up on the tow bar etc. and nothing worked. I drove it 20 yards up the road and hey presto

I think it needs recalbration or if the compressor keeps running and the height doesnt change after that 10mm it's possible that it's piston seal is worn and doesnt have enough ''guts'' to inflate more as the backpressure passes the seal so it can't reach the ORM target height hence the warning keeps flashing then you need this https://x8r.co.uk/land-rover-discov...pension-compressor-piston-ring-repair-fix-kit also it's good to remove the air inlet filter's internals wash and dry them then refit(it's behind the rear left lamp)
