I suspect it is, due to the remote being able to raise and lower it.
Is there an air valve somewhere that could be tripped so that a slow graceful lowering of the back end can occur when the car is switched off. The car should then set the height to normal once the engine is on.
I also assume no responsibility if I fry the car!! ("I have no idea how that could happen, must have been the previous owner" he says to better half)
