Hi everyone, this is my first post. I've not had my Range Rover long and to be honest have had nothing but problems. It is a 2003 L322 4.4 petrol

This last one has me completely stumped.

I required a new battery so bought one from LandRover and asked if I need do anything when the battery was disconnected and was told no, only to keep the keys in my pocket.
I did this and when I switched the ignition back on turned the steering wheel fully left and fully right to clear the lights but was left with "AIR SUSPENSION INACTIVE" I tried recycling the fuse which got rid of the message but now the suspension is completely dead and when driven the car vibrates (from the front i think) the faster i go the frequency intensify's, like the suspension/body is sitting down or rubbing on something.

Any help would be grateful before I have to take it to Landrover.

Every time I have removed battery on my L322 I have also had air suspension inactive message appear on dash. Full lock left and right raised my suspension and after short drive followed by turning off engine and restarting clears message.

if not as above then you have to get codes read and reset. as with p38 we never disconect the battery, if battery dead then we run jump leads across while battery bein swapped to keep the currant flowing in the car. this stops the faults.

When the battery is disconnected on an L322 you need to calibrate the steering angle sensor when reconnected. Just turn lock to lock a couple of times and the warning and DSC light will go off.

And if it doesn't?

Be like me i got rid of the air suspension compleatly and went to coil springs and shockers on my P38 it was a compleat and utter mess allways giong wrong one way or another . This is the best thing i have done to my P38 never gives me any more problems .

can anyone help as i have just bought my l322 4.4. the suspension as been playing up
and now it will not work at all.and also today the lights on the dash for the air suspension don't even light up.help please
