Hi I'm new to this forum also new to the land rover world of problems if any one could give me any advice or point me in the right direction I would be grateful!.........recently purchased a landrover discovery 4 2010 106k the problem is when I accelerate there is a loud whine/air sucking in nose iv searched the Web but i can't seem to find anybody else with the same nosie as mine. I have checked for air leaks visually but no luck. The nosie sound likes it's coming from the passenger side it sounds like it's super charged its sounds alright until I get to around 3000rpm then it's quite embarrassing. It doesn't do it on idle only at around 1000rpm then the more rpm the louder it gets. Its also seems to be louder in 1st and 2nd gear.....any suggestions guys thanks

You will most likely have a split i/c hose or split intake manifold, google is your friend.
