I've got them on mine, but only because they were fitted when i bought it and the original grill is missing.

I don't like them and they don't make the heater any hotter but you get noticabley greater airflow through the vents above 45mph, they do make a difference on really cold days too :D
 
Got one on mine but not bothered with the side with the blanking plate for looks. It is minimal but I like the look of them personally. :rolleyes:

there not designed to make the heater hotter just to put greater airflow into the heater box
 
What about the sideways facing ones designed to stop snow getting in? Any good?

I'm hoping for another bad winter so I can be smug (again) ;)
 
I fitted some on the top of mine... stops all the rain water, or snow going in and melting, potentially then overflowing into the heater fan and blowing it up.. (as I found out)

also stops flying mud falling in..

that's the only reason why I have fitted it to mine
