Hi all,

just looking on flea bay at V8 Disco's for fun...there is some chap on there who has written the following on a listing......

"She drives very well with no unusual clunks or clanks. The vehicle is fitted with an agricultural grade clutch which takes a bit of getting used to as you have to allow it a second or two to disengage when changing gears.
There is no tow-bar fitted to the vehicle although i couldn't be sure that there hasn't been one fitted in the past."

Okay, I know if HD clutch's...but never an Ag one...nor have I every heard of a HD clutch hanging on........further more...no Tow Bar? why have a HD clutch then???

So, can you get an Ag Clutch or is this chap on some kind of illegal drug and using this as an excuse for a possible sticking clutch plate or something.

fyi...not insterested in this car, but would not mind changing the tdi for a V8....

thanks

H

never heard of one!!! If it doesn't disengage properly then theres something wrong, I reckon the bloke is full of **** just to try and sell it to someone who isn't mechanically minded.

i think hes just warning peeps who have never driven a landy, that everything is a bit agricultural compared to a normal saloon car.

the gearchange on me disco certainly isnt in the ford bda rallycar class.
