Ok so I’ve nearly finished the rebuild of the Series 3 and I am looking for an agreed value on it.
I have just insured it with Adrian Flux and they have said they require 7 colour photos and then they will agree a value with me. So what sort of money should I be looking at? I am thinking of asking for an agreed value of £10,000 or is that over ambitious. I know how much the car cost and how much all the parts have cost plus the Labour. I certainly wouldn't want it to be less than £6000 just to cover parts prices.
What do you guys think?

I had my 101 on an agreed value, then realised the agreed was possibly less than market anyway...

Look at a new S3 built & it's going to be more like 13-15k.
I would do this price.
our S1 is 15k and that's not mint.
Make sure you have it writing for the agreed value just in case.
Happy driving

I think mine is insured for £10k ish if I remember correctly with Flux. They will be asking for new photos and all that malarkey again soon.

Remember this is for insurence, so its what you would have to spend to buy a replacement, that can be more than you would sell it for.

Whatever you get becarful on renewal.
They devalued our RR on renewal and I had to argue that the actual value had probably gone up not down.

I have no actual idea of yourS3 value but as has been said look around at others, but I think you maybe a bit low from only a few pics.

Showroom looking S3 by the way great job.
