Hi all

Just taken ownership of a 1996 Disco in Blue.

It's a piece of crap.

More wrong with it than right.

The intention is to fix it, without it becoming a money pit!

Only good thing about it is the engine & gearbox, the rest of the car is f***ed!

Current list of issues
Driver door sagged
Drivers seat sagged and torn
Rear drivers door doesn't cost properly
Boot doesn't shut properly
Dash held together with screws
Front lower bumper missing
Wipers randomly stop anywhere on the windscreen
Oil leak
No aerial
Boot carpet mouldy
Copious rust
No paperwork except last mot
Overheats at 90mph
Clock doesn't work
Seatbelt clips all broken
Rear sunroof sealed shut
Front sunroof only opens after a swift palm heel
Air con doesn't work
Fan only works for a couple of minutes at a time and even then only at 2k revs plus
Reverse gear keeps moving
Spare wheel knackered
Lights dim as hell
Passenger headlight only held in by one bolt
Interior lights don't work
Battery is almost dead after 12 hours of not running

Think that's about it

The overheating bit has been sorted.. magic stuff called "coolant" just put some in so it's not an inch below the minimum line and you're away. Also sorted the oil leak via the medium of "tightening a jubilee clip".
