Hi all, I've got to remove the vcu from my Freelander as it's done 117000 mls and from a few warning signs and symptoms it's just about to give up. Easy enough job, however another freelander owner just told me yesterday that when the rear power train is removed the ABS light on the dash and the TC light will stay on and therefore MOT fail. Does anyone know if he's talking sh**e? Grateful for all advice.Willie.

Aha! I thought as much. I couldn't work out how he makes the connection with power train and ABS/ TC dashboard lights, says he read it on a LANDROVER WEBSITE. LOL.
