ALSO great to see you have fitted aerocatches, I am looking at fitting 4 of them for a fully removeable bonnet. I would really appreciate some more pics of mounting location etc!!

Thanks :)

Need anymore photos - just let me know where and what angle. :D:D:D:D

now, I do like those aerocatches, can you put them anywhere or are they supposed to be on the rad mounts? I'm gonna get some...

You can fit them anywhere as long as the pin sits the right distance below the catch. The rad mount was the obvious place (for me). :D:D

Once I chose to put the pins on the rad mount, I stuck blu-tac on the underside if the bonnet then lowered it - that way I could see where the pins touched so I knew where to drill. :):)

liking the disco looks really good
d2 wipers are a smart little touch
the bonnet catches look so much better than standard bonnet pins

Excellent!!

Thanks very much and a good tip for blue tac!

Best place to order from? Cheapest? I know D44 and Demon Tweeks stock them but they're both notorious for inflated prices...

Thanks again chap :)

Also, do the aerocatches clamp down as you fasten them or are they simply a sliding bolt? Ie do they draw the bonnet down at you tighten them?

The pin is cone-shaped and the receiver is height-adjustable so you should be able to set it as you like.

I'm not going to bother with key ones, locks will get full of **** or freeze. If anyone badly wants to get under the bonnet they're just as easy to take the whole car!

I'd quite like to see some pics of the engine bay itself. :D

As promised in the PM. Please ignore the random green wire on the +ve of the main battery - it's part of my recent electrical issues. Air con recently removed.

Mark, I spotted in a recent post that you've done a full width intercooler. Any chance of some pics as I've got an Allisport one on order. :D:D

So does it go like McStink now?

What's the facts and figures on them TGV motors??

Wow, bet it's a dream to drive on and off road with so much torque! Yours an auto did we decide?

That would be monstrous!
