Hi all,
I could do with a little advice please. I have bought a landrover V8 LPG disco 1 1998 with 177k, it comes with a problem , the guy I am getting it off says he thinks it needs a new head gasket as he says it is losing compression on cyl 1&3. as he has had it pressure tested, but it is not losing water and the oil is ok. any advise would be very helpful.

take the head off and check the gasket also check the pistons If he's told you it's fooked. Then you need to get it sorted ASAP..
