Hi Guys,
After changing my fuel filter and replacement of the aft part of my fuel line, I still have a problem of fuel starvation.
I used to happen with 1/4 tank left. I thought it may have been crap in the tank or a fuel pressure problem. But it is getting worse and I am now at the stage to check the tank vents. Last check I done when home was letting it run idle with the tank cap off. That seemed to work, bearing in mind that was at idle.
So next job when back is to see if unblocking the tank vents is gonna solve it.
Can someone give advise on:
- How to unblock tank vents ? Will blowing back through te tube with a compressor be ok? I am aware that any crap will blow back in my tank.
- Where are the vents on this Disco 1 1991 3.5 V8i located ? And how many are there?. I saw a small pipe coming down from the corner of the tank when changing my fuel line. Is that one of them ?
I don't have my Haines manual with me, does it say in there ?
Any suggestion are :welcome2:, thanks.
Regards,
Michael
