as the ones of you who could be arsed to get to the shindig  know there a young lad in my rd called ste, he is only 20 and loves comming with us when we go offroading, he really wants an offroader deep down but is to scared to take the plunge!
now........he loves defenders but would never afford to buy one that isnt ancient and i dont wanna be underneath it every weekend.
the pracicality of it although there very practical they woudnt be for him as he would loose the comforts of his corsa????

any way, he seems keen on the disco's as i just sat his mate in one and he is loving it.

the old rangies arnt to common in a tdi and only affordable ones are again really old with conversions.

i have suggested a vitara or somthing similar in the zuki range to get him started as there cheap as chips, capable for what he would want to do and very cheap for parts yet also simple.

just wondering what the general feelings are from peeps so i can get him to read this and help him make a decision as i cant be arsed with him jumping in mine all the time ;)

so what we want is, cheap, reliable, mid 90's in age yet practical for him.

just ignore that daft **** Raz.
he seems to quickly forget the help he's had from folks on this forum.

steve Eyop mate !

If yer just after summat get yer out fer a bit o fun then Raz is rite . theres still cheap discos t be had but most are shagged or well rotten so get yersell a little zuke fer now then set about fettlin a series like yellas dun.

I'll keep me eyes open fer summat over Yarkshire way for yer .

what's his price range raz as that would help narrow down his search also..

there's a 93 k reg up my way going for a grand that's in really good fettal for it's year...there's also a r reg disco local fer 1800 but i havent seen this one just been told be a mate.

talking of mate's if he's got 2 grand to play with a mate's selling a lwb shogun with all the works on a r reg too...

btw these are all in leed's thou mate

but then again wiv two grand to play with he can get a depender or real nice disco :D

shogun insurance will be to high for him mate, dear parts also.
myself and evo would be selling his corsa (tidy lil v plate merit cat c) so about the 1500 quid mark max.
we can also pick up disco's both 200 and 300 cheaper than whats been mentioned on here.
just a general opinion for him when i bring him in to read this so he can understand what i am saying to him.
main thing i can think of is that he is just scared of straying away from what he knows.

He'll never buy another chav mobile once he's had a 4x4. and he'll get more crumpet. If that don't convince him, he needs his head examining.

tell him er get a little sj zuki raz, mek sure its a hard top tho. he'll pick one up fer peanuts then you can set about givin it the cs components treatment. widen yer product range and young ste can join in the fun fer himself

I, must add its gotta be an everyday car aswell, to be honest yella i dont even know if its worth doing zuki'sa s if yer break summate the parts are cheaper than the protection equipment aint they, might do some roll cages for em but cant think of nothing else??? oo maybe wheel spacers, they love them to try to seem bigger and less inadequet when they are next to an LR! hehe!

nah, theyre like magpies mate, they love the shiney bits. mek a big fook off steerin guard with "ZUKI" cut out fook me, theyll snap em up ;)

Ere', jest fort, I could cut a 'T' an a 'E' in frunt of the name on mine cun't I? :D

1 year, give him his due 2 wasnt his fault but to be honest his driving standard is bad and although a good driver will get him out of a situation, a better one woulndt be in it in the first place and he needs to learn that. sooner the better, evo though he was dead once!!!!!! you wont catch me in a car with him at the wheel ill tell yer that much!
