Hi there, I bought a 09 plate Freelander 2 last Sept & it had had 4 pretty new General Grabber AT tires fitted prior to us buying it. Seems to run fine, but a little noisy at about 50mph which someone said was the tyres. The noise has increased during the time I've had itbut my main concern is that it handles SO badly in the winter. The slightest touch of frost or ice and its all over the place.
I've spoken to a couple of people who think its the tyres & recommended Michelin Lattitude Tour tyres, which I had on my previous Freelander with no problems. My question is, do you think it could be the tyres or is there something else going on here? I have absolutely zero confidence driving it when its even slightly icy & don't know what to do with it.
