Looking to get a '97 Wrangler Sport 4x4, 6 cyl, at. Looks pretty good,
121k miles. If it were a Honda I wouldn't blink at the miles (I've had
several Honda's with many more miles than that on them) but how do Jeeps
hold up? It looks like this one did a lot of freeway driving to get that
many miles on it, 15k a year. Freeway driving doesn't wear out a vehicle
like a lot of stop and go does.

Or off-roading, for that matter!

I have seen wranglers with a lot more mileage than that on them. If it
is relatively stock it sound be okay but if it has does 120k with a lift
and big tires it could be a can of worms.

The 4.0 6 cyl engine is good for a lot of miles if looked after. Our 88
has over 310,000 km on it and is still going strong.

Most engines will go well past 200k miles (or 400Km) with proper up
keep. I have run several past that mark, small and big.
