Hi all....

Ok so im getting a bit annoyed at the stupidly low range I get out of the tiny fuel tank in the boot since my bobtail job. So I was thinking of having a pair of tanks built to fit between the chassis rails and the sills like the lpg V8's have but not square not torpedo, anyways, problem being how will I run two diesel tanks? where's the return going to feed into? can I just use a balance pipe between the two and then pickup the fuel from just the one tank? Anyone else running a similar setup?

(P.S its a discovery 200tdi)

Thanks! :D

ive just bought a square extra tank for my 110. Should start fitting it this weekend. Ill post up piccies as i go if you want.

I have twin tanks on my 90.

The aux tank has a fuel pump that dumps it into the main tank with a switch on the dash, no sender. The pump is a bit slow and takes about 40mins to transfer 40l but its a simple set up and i just have it running whilst driving if i need to top the main tank up.

well im looking at doing this on my standard discovery for various reasons and would like to do much the same as mentioned as above is it pretty simple to do a little eletric fuel pump submerged going in to the main tank with a flick switch on the dash but where to get a decent auxilary tank or what to use as a decent auxilary tank
