I've just made the rather unfortunate discovery that the head on my engine is cracked. I did a quick look on Paddock Spares website and can't find any replacement parts, and am now really hoping that I don't have to replace the whole engine.

Does anyone have a used head, or know where I can get one, that would fit a 1976 Series III petrol? I was hoping to convert to the hardened valves, the unleaded conversion, so a head that would accommodate that conversion would be ideal. But at this point any head will do.

been eyeing up an unleaded head for a while but its way down the list......

Turners will sell you a nice new unleaded head for a good few hundred pounds - or you could do what i did a few months back and buy one off ebay with one already fitted for less than £30
