Well, i'm progressing well with my D2 V8 work, but I sent my front ACE torsion bar to a local landy specialist to replace the bushes as they were shot, along with he actuator.
Anyway.....Got a call today that some thread was shot and it was useless? So went to see them. What was apparent is that the short arm of the torsion bar is turning 360 deg around the bar, apparently there is like a cog type locking system (teeth lock together) was worn, and apparently a new torsion bar is needed - £400 + vat
Well, looked on ebay and there is some second hand ones on ebay for £40, so gonna give them a go
Just wandering if anybody else with ACE has had this issue
