I have a D2 TD5 ES with the ace system.
Red light and warning bong today
Took it to a LR workshop and after computer diagnoses it was said that the valve block was the problem.
My problem is i have been quoted £1200 inc vat for replacement part only, plus fluid and labour and vat for fitting
Need input form people who know better if possible.
I have been advised to dump ace and get conventional set up
Will be more reliable and save some pennies also.
Is there any ride difference between ace and conventional set up ?
Do i need to inform insurance company of change ?
Annoying as i have just had both air bags changed for new OE 2 months ago.
