Hi all, first post so be gentle while coming around a corner this morning my disco started making a bonging noise which went on for 2 miles , although not the first time it has made noises, i seem to have bought the most hormonal temperamental one they made- i think?.

Looking at the dash i saw the red light meaning ACE, it has started to handle differently the last week, and it went into the garage and they just found roll bar bushes worn, guess this now answers why? as this didn't fix it.

Looking under bonnet i see it has emptied half its oil from the ace bottle, and when looking around it under neath i can see it dripping oil from drivers side nr back diff expensive i no doubt?
It will be going to garage tomorrow but my question is what could this be just to get an idea on cost and if their is anything else i should be aware of with this system, it has for a while been sticking on its accelerator, a small article i read said something about the system using something to do with this, could this be part of its fault to?

ace system use a double acting hydraulic ram 1 front 1 rear on drivers side on inner side of chassis ,valve block for it is secured to drivers side chassis ,pipes run to front and back to rams ,and to pump on engine,it works by pulling pushing on roll bar to keep car upright ,check to see if pipe or ram are leaking at rear ,diff or axle leak arent anything to do with it but its possible oil is running down to there ,keep reservoir topped up check for leaks ,does light come on regular or just occasionally ,when light comes on stop engine and restart to clear warning light and sounder

i think it is running down over rear diff, looks like it is coming from ribbed pipe although without shimmying under their could be coming from higher up.
light stayed on till i got home, when i switched off it went. until i went around another corner, then beeped again and came on,
on the way back again just stayed on from switching it on, feels like a boat now

looks like pipe or ram needs fixing,best sooner than later make sure garage understand what ace is first

Hearing it could be a pipe or ram makes me feel like i might sleep a bit better tonight, looked at pumps on ebay and choked when i saw £300+ although bet pipe etc still isnt cheap. about all that is left to change on the thing, still love it though.
